Principles of Vacuum Forming

The technology of Vacuum Forming is a method for thermo-forming. It is a method of using thermoplastic sheet to make an opening of the housing of the article. Cut the plastic sheet into special size first, and then heat and soften the sheet through the huge pressure difference on both sides of the sheet or mechanical pressure, this can make the sheet attached with the surface of the mold after heating and deforming, next through cooling and shaping, the sheet can be vacuumed into various shapes of cover, plastic trays, bubble shell etc.
The technology of vacuum forming relied on vacuum force which can make the sheet achieve tensile deformation. Vacuum force is easy to be realized, grasped and controlled, so it is the earliest, a thermal forming method ,which is widely used currently.

Introduction of Vacuum Forming Machine

1. This machine is automatic. Just after placing plastic sheet onto the frame, then heating, forming, cooling, can be done automatically.

3. The far-infrared ceramic heating elements can control every single block heater temperature, more power-saving features, and reducing production cost.

Application Range

This type machine can be used for plastic film for all kinds, such as toys, hardware, food, electronics, medicine, with a transparent film coating repacked in a board, form a seal packing.
This type machine can also produce plastic ceiling panel, cake boxes, lunch boxes, automobile materials and sanitary materials etc, which can be produced with three-dimensional relief pattern like 3D advertisement products.

Suitable material: PVC, PET, PP, PC, ABS, PS, EPS, HIPS, LDPE, HDPE and all thermoplastic sheet.

Working Processes of Vacuum Forming Machine

1. Independent temperature control system: Adopting dense, plate and special far infrared ceramic heating brick to assemble the machine. It can reach exact temperature within 5 minutes. Steady temperature can assure high quality of product when use PVC,PET or other environmental materials. Also, it can save more power that traditional machine, using the time of cooling and demoulding after forming to heat the material , so it will not influence the forming speed.
2. Adopting solid-state temperature controller,which has independent, automatic voltage regulator function, when the external voltage changes in a range, it can ensure the stable temperature.
3. The electric furnace are equipped with cylinder to push, and it has electromagnetic valve buffer system, so this can make the electric furnace stable and durable
4. The machine has complete functions like“ delay vacuum, vacuum, vacuum with the wind, Spray, cooling wind”, all these can make it convenient and for workers to operate it accurately in actual production, and ensure the perfect vacuum forming process in a best time for high technology products.
5. Equipped with auto spray mold-release agent, the machine has two functions: vibration demould and mold blowing, so this can make it easy for formed sheet to release from the mold
6. Die die blowing function: die into the mold and blowing, make the film formation or summon up, then forming a more perfect product.
7. Precise positioning function of clip, ensure the material placed at the exact position
8. The cooing fan is controlled by inverter, volume of the wind can be adjusted easily.
9. Quick die change function (Automatic Locking); Intelligent temperature control system, servo mechanical transmission system, imported electrical control system , etc.

Working Processes of Vacuum Forming Machine

Carry materials manually→ clamp the materials → move the material into the oven,(while we can use blow function to keep material not drop down), after the material to soft →take the material to forming area → Bubble blow the material before vacuum (this is important function) → the vacuum will auto start→ open the fan to cold→ separate the model and material →take the material out.

Questions 01. How Do You Pack the machines

RE: Our machines will be packed into wood case, (we will process the wood case and make sure it is exporting standard, and no need fumigation)

Questions 02. Is it difficult to install the machine ?

RE: For standard small machines, the machines will be packed with no take apart, it comes to you to be a complete machine;

you just need to connect power and compressed air to machine, then begin to operate the machine.

For large size machines, we will take the machine apart, on condition that we do our best to keep the machine easy to assembly.

You will get install videos, and install instructions from us.

It will be an ABC thing to install machines at your side.

Questions 03. How Does Customer Use the machines

RE: We will provide you operation manual and diagram of machine in English.

Questions 04. Does the machine need compressed air ?

RE: Generally speaking, if your factory with compressed air source, then connect to machine.

If not, please buy a 2Psi -5 Psi air compressor.

If customer request to use Hydraulic pressure, please inform us when put an order.

Questions 05. Does the machine power voltage meet buyers' factory power source?

RE: We can make machine with voltage like:
